Yasmin Barakat is a visual artist based in Cairo, Egypt.

Yasmins work is about the body. Through movement and painting she explores themes of rhythm, boundaries, and change. Yasmins visual language plays with opposing matters, how two entities must exist for a balance to occur. Yasmin’s work is focusses on the idea of the body as a place, explored internally and externally.
